Common questions

What people usually ask

How do I know which service my watch needs?
A Quick Inspection is a sensible starting point for most watches. We assess the piece on the bench and walk you through what we find — then you decide whether to go further. There's no obligation to proceed beyond the initial check.
What types of watches do you work on?
We work on mechanical and quartz watches from a range of eras — everyday pieces through to older family heirlooms. We do not service smartwatches or electronic wearables.
How long does the work take?
A Quick Inspection is often completed the same day or within a day or two. Strap and crystal work typically takes three to five working days. Heirloom Conservation Projects vary depending on the piece — we discuss a realistic timeline before work begins.
Can I see the work plan before anything is done?
Yes — for conservation projects, this is part of how we work. We photograph the condition, write up what we propose, and share it with you before touching the movement. For other services we explain verbally and confirm your agreement first.
Are the prices on the site final?
The prices listed cover the scope described. If your watch needs additional components not included in the service, we will tell you before ordering them and give you the option to proceed or not.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during studio hours, though sending a message first ensures someone is at the bench and ready to focus on your piece. For heirloom projects, a pre-visit conversation is particularly helpful.
